King's College London's Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine is hiring for a Director at King’s Technology Evaluation Centre (KiTEC) & Principle Research Fellow in Healthcare Technologies.

The Director of the King’s Technology Evaluation Centre (KiTEC) / Principal Research Fellow in Healthcare Technologies is a key strategic leadership position, that will develop and deliver KiTEC’s strategy, with overall responsibility for funding and business development. The post holder will oversee and be responsible for the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and related research activities portfolio and  the development of KiTEC’s portfolio of academic research and consultancy work.

The Director will lead and develop the London Medical Imaging & Artificial Intelligence Centre’s emerging AI Evaluation Unit. 

The primary responsibility of the post holder will be to develop the profile of the King’s Technology Evaluation Centre (KiTEC) as a research-led centre for Health Technology Assessment (HTA), with an exciting opportunity to expand our AI Evaluation work. This will include strategic development of an independent research programme, synergistic with existing activity in the School and GSTT, and securing additional income streams, while generating high-impact peer reviewed publications.
